The Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots played an “instant Classic” last night.  The Patriots sprinted out to an early lead as the Chiefs could manage only 3 field goals in the 1st half, and trailed 24-9 at the break.  But KC found its stride in the second half, with a rally that saw them tie the score at 40-40 with 3:03 to play in the game, before Tom Brady did his thing, and moved the Patriots down the field for the game winning field goal.  The Chiefs second half rally included a 67 yd, TD pass to Kareem Hunt, and a 75 yd TD pass to Tyreek Hill.

For the game, Patrick Mahomes was 23 of 36 for 352 yds and 4 TD’s.

Tom Brady was 24-35 for 340 and 1 TD.

Up next for KC….the Bengals, again on Sunday Night.
