The City of Mammoth Spring is one of 16 cities and counties that were given awards totaling more than three million dollars. mammoth Spring received a $200,000 grant for water line extensions and booster pump installation. The grant was from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development through the community development block grant program for small cities. Hardy was also awarded a $200,000 grant for a water tank rehabilitation. Randolph and Independence counties are received grants.
