The Mammoth Spring Bears and Lady Bears Traveled to Maynard to take on the tigers last night. The Lady Bears fell behind early and trailed the Lady Tigers 15-7 after 1 quarter, then fell behind by 11 before cutting it to 5 at the half 24-19, they fought back to tie it at 35 at the end of three, then led by as many as 9 in the fourth before Maynard came back to tie it at 57 at the end of regulation. IN overtime Maynard took over and won 68-61, The Lady Tigers were led by Sybill Howison with 41 points and Mikill Edington added 19. For the Lady Bears Tara Godwin led them with 26 points, Stephanie Henry added 17 and Lauren Mitchell 11. The Boys game went back and fourth with both teams exchanging the lead throughout the game, then the Bears were able to hold on for a 1 point win 46-45. Jacob Golden led the Bears with 13 points, Alex Mero added 11 and Devin Cray 10. The Junior Bears and Junior Lady Bears both lost to Maynard, Junior girls was 44-39, junior boys was 28-25
