A man from Doniphan was injured in a one vehicle accident Friday morning west of Alton. The Highway Patrol reports that 47 year old Charles Gambling suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the trash truck he was driving. Gambling was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened around 7:15 Friday morning on highway 160 about five miles west of Alton.
