Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Carter County. According to the Highway Patrol report, 47 year old Glen Barnes of Ellsinore suffered serious injuries and 61 year old Deborah Hannigan of Eminence suffered moderate injuries when Barnes failed to yield at a crossroads and pulled into the path of the vehicle that was driven by 71 year old David Hannigan. Both the injured were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 60 about 6 miles east of Fremont.
