Fulton County Sheriff’s Department’s Chief Deputy John Cawvey has reportedly resigned. According to reports Cawvey resigned last Thursday, amid reports that he is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police at the request of the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force. Cawvey has been a deputy in Fulton County for about five years serving the last three as chief deputy. Authorities say Cawvey is innocent until proven guilty.
