Organizers of the “back to school” fair in Oregon county report they had a surplus of backpacks and schools supplies after their event on Wednesday, so they have scheduled another opportunity for kids to get supplies. The distribution will be held on Wednesday, August 5th at the Clarity Church in Thayer from 4-7pm. Free backpacks and other school supplies will be handed out to students of all Oregon county and Mammoth Spring schools on a first come, first serve basis. There is no pre-registration or income guidelines. The Clarity church is located near the rodeo arena just off highway 63 in Thayer.
