A West Plains teen was injured in an accident Friday afternoon north of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that 17-year-old Tyler Jewell suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree. Jewell was taken to OMC. The accident happened on county road 1770 about a half mile north of West Plains.
