Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident south of Ava Monday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle driven by 79-year-old William Pralle of Bulls Shoals, lost traction on an ice-covered roadway and hit the vehicle driven by 26-year-old Sergio Luna of Kansas City Kansas. Pralle and 25-year-old Elizabeth Ruth of Kansas City Kansas both suffered moderate injuries and Luna suffered minor injuries. The accident happened on highway 5, less than a mile south of Ava.
