A Cherokee Village Man Is Sentenced For Two Murders & Stabbing A Third Person

A Cherokee Village Man accused of murdering two women and stabbing a third has been sentenced to life in prison without parole on the two murder charges and 240 to 600 months on a battery charge. 24-year-old Charles Paul Stovall allegedly murdered 23-year-old Hayleigh Gruger at her home in Cherokee Village and then murdered 72-year-old Linda Janny at her home in Cherokee Village and stabbed Debra Compton in Highland.  The prosecuting attorney was originally working to seek the death penalty but Stovall negotiated a plea deal and pled guilty to two counts of capital murder and one count of first-degree battery.
