Mountain Home has a new Chief of Police. Wednesday, acting Chief of Police Eddie Griffin was announced as the new Chief of Police. Griffin has been with the Mountain Home Police Department for 24 years. Griffin was named the assistant Chief in July of 2020 and then was named acting Chief when Carry Manuel retired last fall. The 55-year-old Griffin is married with two adult sons.
