The Thayer Bobcats have won their 5th straight district championship. Thayer (23-4) defeated Neelyville in the District 3 Championship game last night 52-35. Kobe Meyer had 14 points to pace three Bobcats in double figures. Thayer will advance to the Regional at Mountain Grove next Wednesday (2-28) to play either Hartville or Mansfield, they play for the District 4 title Saturday night.
The Thayer Lady Bobcats go down in the district title game last night, losing to Neelyville 63-47. Thayer finishes the season 24-1, Neelyville wins their 8th straight district championship.
