A 68 yr old Theodosia man was seriously injured yesterday morning. Richard W Clark was traveling north on Hwy 5 North of Ava when his Ram 1500 truck went off the left side of the road and hit a tree. Clark did received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. He was wearing his seatbelt.
A WP woman and an Alton woman were involved in a two vehicle accident yesterday just before 11 am. MSHP reports 57 yr old Roxann Wurst of WP was traveling north on MO RT 19 two miles north of Alton when she turned into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by 36 yr old Tonya R Bridges of Alton. Both vehicle received extensive damages but both women refused treatment at the scene they were wearing seatbelts.
