A 3 vehicle accident yesterday in Pocahontas has claimed one life and injured 2 others. ASP report that 22 yr old Rebecca Anderson of Marianna, AR was traveling US Hwy 67 N just south of Keller Lane when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck the left front of another vehicle, Anderson then crossed over into the southbound lane and hit the 3rd vehicle driven by 63 yr old Floyd Beavers of Jacksonville AR. Anderson and Beavers were transported to separate hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The name of the driver who was killed has not been released pending the notification of next of kin.
