On the local high school baseball scoreboard from Monday, The Thayer Bobcats lost their season opener, dropping a 9-1 decision at Dora. The Mammoth Spring Bears won at home Monday afternoon, beating Norfork 11-3 to improve to 6-6,(5-2 in conference) on the season.
On the schedule for today weather permitting, Alton will play at home with Cabool, Thayer at home with Winona, Mammoth Spring on the road to Eminence, West Plains at home against Ava, Mountain Grove will travel to Gainesville and Licking will play Salem.
