72 yr old Betty Sanders of Pineville, AR was killed in a one vehicle accident yesterday morning when she failed to negotiate a right hand curve ran off the road and hit a rock embankment which then caused her vehicle to overturn twice before coming to rest in a ditch. That accident happened on SH 223 about 3 miles north of Pineville. ASP reported an occupant in the Sanders vehicle was injured but no other information on the condition of or the identity of that person was available.
A 67 yr old Mtn Home AR man was injured yesterday afternoon when his vehicle was hit from behind by another. Robert J Goss was taken by ambulance to OMC for treatment of moderate injuries after 20 yr old Beka L Eberlin of WP rear-ended him. that accident happened two miles west of South Fork on US160 just after 4:00 yesterday afternoon. Both were wearing seatbelts, Eberlin did not report injuries.
