In regional News: An AR State Trooper has been shot allegedly by a woman during a traffic stop last night in Rockport located in Hot Spring County. Trooper Kyle Sheldon was transported to a Hot Springs Hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The woman 49 yr old Elsbeth Tresa Kittinger from Ft Worth TX was wounded by local law enforcement on the scene as Kittinger attempted to drive away. She was treated and released into the custody of Garland County authorities. Trooper Kyle Sheldon remains hospitalized in stable condition.
