The St. Louis Cardinals spoiled the home opener for the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday, and won their second straight. The Cards got home runs from Paul DeJong and pitcher Miles Mikolas to beat the Brewers 8-4. The Cards and Brewers play again tonight, Jack Flaharty gets the start for the Cardinals.
The Kansas City Royals lost on the road at Detroit 6-1, and are now the only team in the American League still looking for its first win of the season. The Royals will try to get that win at Detroit today.
