The St. Louis Cardinals take 2 of 3 from the Milwaukee Brewers with a 6-0 win last night. Carlos Martinez was fantastic, pitching 8 and a third innings, giving up only 4 hits and striking out 10. After spending the first week of the season on the road, the Cardinals play their home opener tonight at Busch Stadium with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Adam Wainwright, just off the DL, gets the start in the home opener.
The Kansas City Royals game at Detroit yesterday was postponed by weather. The Royals have a scheduled off day today, they open a weekend series at Cleveland on Friday.
