The Mammoth Spring Bears won again yesterday in high school baseball, beating the I.C.C. Cougars 6-2. The win improves the Bears record to 9-6 overall, and 8-2 in conference play. Elsewhere on the scoreboard from yesterday, West Plains was shut out by the Rolla Bulldogs 6-0, Mountain Grove knocked off Willow Springs 14-4, Cabool beat Houston 10-5 and Liberty lost to Salem 14-4.
West Plains and Willow Springs were both winners at the MSU Golf Relays. The West Plains Zizzers won the Class 3 division by 1 stroke over Springfield-Catholic. And Willow Springs easily won the Class 1-2 division. The Bears were 16 shots better than second place Fair Grove.
