The St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals had something in common on Sunday, both offenses couldn’t get going, the bullpens gave up late homers in losses.
For the Cardinals, they lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1, as the bullpen gave up homers in the 8th and 9th inning. The Cards host the Milwaukee Brewers tonight.
For the Royals, after winning on their 2nd game of the season Saturday, the offense also took an off day Sunday, as the Royals lost to Cleveland 3-1. And the bullpen gave up a 2 run walk off home-run in the 9th.
