The St. Louis Cardinals win walk-off style last night at Busch! Matt Carpenter hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 11th inning and the Cardinals beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-3. All that after the Cards scored a run in the bottom of the 9th to send the game into extra innings. They had to score in the bottom of the 10 after the Brewers took the lead. But a scoreless top of the 11th, allowed for the heroics by Carpenter. The rubber game of the series is this afternoon with Adam Wainwright toeing the rubber for the Cardinals.
