The Cardinals lost to the New York Mets 6-5 in 10 innings on a Jay Bruce homer. Tommy Pham returned to the Cards line-up with 3 hits, a homer and 3 RBI’s. The Cards and Mets play again tonight at Busch, Michael Wacha goes for his 4th win for the Redbirds.
The Kansas City Royals fell behind early as the Milwaukee Brewers got to Ian Kennedy for 4 runs in 3 innings. The Royals lost 5-2. Salvador Perez, just back from injury had a home run for K.C. The Royals and Brewers play again tonight at Kauffman.
