76 yr old Gerald W Derryberry of Birch Tree was seriously injured yesterday afternoon when he was thrown from a Honda 4 Trax 250 he was driving on County Rd 464 west of Birch Tree. MSHP stated Derryberry ran off the road in the 4 Trax which overturned and ejected him. He was taken by air ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
50 YR OLD Mammoth Spring man was arrested by Fulton County Sheriff’s Department on several charges. Harry Hayes has been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of meth, possession of an instrument of crime and assault on a family or household member. Other details were not available. Fulton County also arrested 40 yr old Christopher Sanders of Viola and charged him with entering a school campus-Sanders is a registered sex offender. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
