The name of the man in Ozark County found shot to death last week has been released and suspects are in the Ozark County jail.  73 yr old Lawrence Brostedt was found shot in his garage in the small community of Foil, MO adjacent to Squires near Gainsville last week. He was found when police did a well being check. That check and the arrest of suspects fell into place when Mtn Grove Police arrested a man in an unrelated charge and found some checks in his possession belonging to Mr. Brostedt. When police went to check on him it was obvious that his home had been ransacked and he was found covered by a tarp in his garage. The investigation continues with the arrest of a woman named Holly Lucas in the Ozark County Jail without bond and facing multiple charges which include 1st degree murder.  The man who had the checks is Michael Smith who is facing charges of conspiracy to commit robbery; he has a 250 thousand dollar bond. A third man is on the run, his name is Tyler Teynard, he’s charged with first degree murder. Surveillance video from banks where the checks were cashed led police to the identities of the three persons just mentioned. It’s believed one of them had worked for Lawrence Brostedt in the past. Two more suspects have pending charges.
