The St. Louis Cardinals, coming off a sweep of the Chicago Cubs, have been swept at home by the Minnesota Twins, losing yesterday 7-1.  In the 2 game series with the Twins, the Cardinals managed just 6 hits, and only had 2 yesterday, one of those a 1st inning homer by Jose Martinez.  The Redbirds will take a day off today, and open a 4 game weekend series in San Diego on Thursday.
