A Mtn Home resident was killed Monday afternoon in a 2 vehicle accident on Hwy 201 and Coley Drive in the city. 25 yr old Dakota Ellison was traveling north on 201 when he crossed the center line in his vehicle and hit a dump truck driven by 58 yr old Charles Ray Knuckles of Henderson. ASP reported that Knuckles truck left nearly 63 feet of skid marks before the front left of the truck was hit by the Ellison vehicle. Charles Knuckles did not report any injuries. That accident happened just after 6 pm Monday evening.
37 yr old Jonathon Hicks of Jonesboro, formerly of Hardy, was killed in a one vehicle accident Monday night in Greene County, AR. According to ASP, Hicks was westbound on CO RD 326 when his Toyota hit an embankment after he lost control in a curve. Hicks vehicle rolled following the impact. Hicks was pronounced deceased at the scene.
