Kennedy game up 9 runs in just 4 innings. KC will be in Cleveland to play the Indians this weekend, game 1 is tonight.
The St. Louis Cardinals won a pitchers duel last night out west, beating the San Diego Padres 2-1 behind Miles Mikolas who improves to 5-0, Bud Norris earned his 8th save with a scoreless 9th. The Cards and Padres play again tonight, Luke Weaver on the hill for the Redbirds. *Before the game last night, the Cardinals announced that pitcher Carlos Martinez has been placed on the 10 day DL with a Lat Strain. Adam Wainwright will come off the DL this weekend.
