Cardinals and Royals Both Lose Tuesday

The St. Louis Cardinals bats were quiet again last night, as the Redbirds lost to Minnesota 4-1.  The Cards managed just 2 hits while losing their 3rd straight game, and was their 3rd lost to the Twins in 3 tries.  They will try and break the streak this afternoon at Minnesota.

 

The Kansas City Royals lost a tight game to the Tampa Bay Rays up at Kauffman Stadium.  The Rays scored the go ahead run in the top of the 9th off Royals closer Kelvin Herrara and beat KC 6-5.  Whit Merrifield had 3 RBI’s for the Royals in the loss.  KC and Tampa Bay play again this afternoon at Kauffman.
