The Kansas City Royals take 2 of 3 from the St. Louis Cardinals in the I-70 series round one, with a 5-2, 10 inning win yesterday at Busch Stadium. The Royals scored 3 runs off of Cardinals closer Bud Norris in the top of the 10th to break the 2-2 tie, then Kelvin Herrera shut the door in the bottom of the inning to preserve the win.
The Royals are right back after it tonight at Texas.
The Cards have a day off, and will open a weekend series in Pittsburgh Friday night.
