A man from Winona suffered serious injuries in an accident Friday afternoon north of Winona. 57 year old Donald Thompson was injured when he drove into the rear of the vehicle driven by 29 year old Ashley Lay of Winona. Lay was not injured. Thompson was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 19, about three miles north of Winona around 5:30 Friday afternoon.
