Missouri Highway Commission Met In West Plains

The Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission met Wednesday at the West Plains Civic Center for their regular monthly meeting. During the meeting the commission heard from a group representing West Plains about some possible changes to highway 63 in the City. The Group included Mayor Jack Pahlman, City Adminiistrator Tom Stein and OMC Director of Facilities Josh Reeves. Reeves talked about the upcoming  expansion to Ozarks Medical Center..

With the expansion, part of Kentucky Ave will be closed, and Mr Stein talked about the need to make changes to highway 63 to help with the change

No action was taken by the commission at this time but they did talk favorable for helping the city.  We will have more from their meeting in the news over the next few days.
