Independence County Emergency crews are reporting a train versus semi collision near Batesville. According to Independence County Emergency Management Director Glen Willis the semi was loaded with an oxidizer and several containers of blasting caps. The crash happened around 9 this morning on Bethesda Road. The Road was blocked for a while. Willis says the Blasting caps were safely removed. A Crane was been called to lift the railcar and remove the semi. There are no injuries and no spills.
