This Wednesday the Thomasville Community Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary, with a big 4th of July celebration event. There will be an Ugly Truck Competition, Homemade Ice Cream contest, Quilt Turning, duck races, book sale, Kid games, Anything goes contest, ice cream & pie parlor, an American Legion Room honoring the hometown veterans and Dawson Hollow Band will be there to entertain, We talked to Ben Link with Dawson Hollow about the type of music they play..

Festivities begin at 4, the band will play beginning at 7 and then around 9 they will have a fireworks display.
