The Baxter County Sheriff’s Department is investigating almost 40 car break-ins from Sunday through Monday. Sheriff John Montgomery says that the cars that were targeted were left unlocked in driveways in mainly rural areas of the county. The Sheriff said most of the break-ins could have been avoided if people would just lock their cars.
