According to reports from Ozark County Authorities, a lighting strike Thursday night started a fire that destroyed a home. The homeowners allegedly told emergency crews they heard a loud boom just before 7 and then smelled smoke. The home is on highway 160 about 2 miles west of Caulfield. Fire Departments from Caulfield, Tecumseh, Bakersfield and Cloud Nine responded to the fire. No injuries have been reported and the homeowners names have not been released.
