A Public Meeting will be held Monday night at 7 for Concerned Citizens for Economic Development. The meeting will be held at the Thayer Fun and Friends Senior Center. There will be discussions on Economics, Jobs and City improvements. Featured speakers include, Thayer chamber President Scott Cecil, South Central Ozarks Council of Governments board member Sam Currier, Executive Director for the Missouri education Reform Council and former Thayer Resident Dr Jerry Hobbs. All city of Thayer elected Officials and county commissioners are invited. Plans are to form an Economic Board of development. Again the meeting is Monday at 7 at the Thayer Fun and Friends Senior Center and all concerned citizens are encouraged to attend.
