The St. Louis Cardinals played long all in San Francisco last night and beat the Giants 11-2. Jed Gyorko hit a 3 run bomb in the 1st inning, Matt Carpenter a solo homer in the 2nd, and Harrison Bader added a 2 run dinger in the 7th to go along with 8 inning of 2 hit pitching by Rookie Luke Weaver.
The Cards and Giants play game 2 of a 4 game series tonight, John Gant gets the start for the Redbirds.
