
Three people were injured in a two vehicle accident Thursday at the Black River bridge in Black Rock. No names have been released but Police say a passenger car hit the rear of a pickup flipping the truck off the north bound side of the Black River bridge. The car knocked the truck forward about 200 feet flipping it over the guard rail with it falling 40 to 50 feet to the field below. Three people in the truck were taken from the scene to area hospitals for treatment of what is being called non-life threatening injuries. Traffic was backed up for a while at the scene. The incident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s office.
