A woman from Alton was one of two people injured in a accident in Ozark County Friday morning. 20 year old Cassandra Springer suffered moderate injuries and 16 year old Madison Metroz of Cabool suffered only minor injuries when 54 year old Jackie Williams of Tecumseh backed a pickup into the car that Springer was driving. Springer was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 160 about a mile east of Hardenville.

A man from Glencoe was injured in an accident south of Mammoth Spring Friday morning. 43 year old Don Batchelor was injured when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on highway 289 just south of Mammoth Spring. Batchelor was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
