Two people were injured, one of them seriously in a two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Wright County. According to the highway patrol report, 40 year old Julie Looney suffered serious injuries and 40 year old Nickolas Looney suffered minor injuries when Nickolas Looney attempted to pass a vehicle driven by 61 year old Diane Albertson of Mountain Grove and was hit by the vehicle Albertson was driving. Julie Looney was taken to Mercy hospital in Springfield. Both Nickolas and Julie Looney are from Norwood. The accident happened on Rt Y about one mile north of Macomb.
