Thayer R2 High School has been ranked among the nations top High Schools by U.S News, I talked to Superintendant Tonya Woods about it
Woods went on to talk about how the Thayer Beta Club had done in national competition in June, with quiz bowl team finishing national runner-up. The Quiz Bowl Team consist of Lane Worley, Garrett Blum, Grant Schrable, and Colten Komm. Individually, Freshman, Matt Denton finished as the national runner-up in Language Arts, Sophomore Garrett Blum finished 3rd in Math and Lane Worley finished 7th in Social Studies.
