
The Missouri Highway Patrol trooper is hospitalized after he was shot during a call in Wright County. The shooting happened this morning along a county road north of Mansfield. The condition of the officer is unknown. Emergency crews flew him to a Springfield hospital. Sergeant Jeff Kinder of Troop G reports the officer was investigating a suspicious call about a vehicle.
