The Izard County Sheriff’s Department along with the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission executed a search warrant at a residence on Pleasant Valley road in Calico Rock. As a result they have arrested Carl Merenette on charges of possession with the purpose to deliver meth, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and possession of drug paraphernalia. Merenette is being held with bond set at $50,000. Also arrested was Jamie Taj Hood. Hood is charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held on $20,000 bond.
