
The Texas County Sheriff and a Texas County Deputy were arrested by the Highway Patrol Wednesday. Sheriff James Sigman and Deputy Jennifer Thomaszewski both face multiple felony charges including, Assault first degree, robbery first degree, endangering the welfare of a child first degree, unlawful use of a weapon, harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child second degree. They are also charged with misdemeanor misuse of information by a public servant and false impersonation. The 48 year old Sigman was taken to Greene County Jail and 38 year old Thomaszewski was taken to the Shannon County Jail. In June, the Missouri Attorney General’s Office confirmed it executed a search warrant inside the Texas County Sheriff’s Department. However at that time, investigators would only say two employees were under scrutiny. The Missouri Highway Patrol led the initial investigation
