
A woman has been arrested days after she led police on a pursuit in Ripley and Oregon Counties. According to a press release on Sunday the Doniphan Police Department, reported they were in a vehicle pursuit west bound on MO 160 approaching the Oregon County line. Doniphan Police Department advised they were pursuing the vehicle for traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle was a female, and she also had five children inside the vehicle with her. Doniphan Police Department discontinued the pursuit at the County Line. Monday the vehicle involved in the pursuit was recovered at the Riverton Church. Oregon County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a female and five children walking along the river bank of the Eleven Point near Riverton. Officers searched the area through the night. Missouri State Highway Patrol came to the area with their Helicopter and searched the area as well. Tuesday Officers continued the search. Fulton County Sheriff’s Office brought a drone and assisted in the search. The female and five children were located safe in the Riverton area. The female now identified as 26 year old Danisha Price was arrested on felony charges lof endangering the welfare of a child, driving while revoked/suspended, and resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing. She also faces 11 misdemeanor charges. Price was taken to the Butler County Jail and bond was set at $100,000.
