A Cave City man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop. 31 year old Thomas Payne failed to stop at a stop sign and was pulled over. The officer recognized him and knew he had a suspended drivers license. Payne was asked to exit the vehicle when a K-9 Dog indicated there was drugs in the vehicle. The officer found digital scales with a white crystal like substance on them. The substance tested positive for meth. The officer also found a pair of brass knuckles. Payne was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of prohibited weapon and driving on a suspended license.
