Tuesday a man from Ash Flat was arrested after a search warrant was served at a residence on Claxton Road south of Ash Flat. 50 year old Tracy Smith was arrested after officers fo0und a plastic baggie of a crystal like substance suspected to be meth, and various items of drug paraphernalia and also located 15 marijuana plants growing behind the house . Smith was taken to Sharp County jail on an absconder warrant and is awaiting the filing of formal charges for manufacturing a controlled substance marijuana, possession of a controlled substance meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
