They Thayer Bobcat football team will be participating in a scrimmage today at Springfield Kickapoo, marking the end of the summer work-outs. We caught up with Bobcat Coach Billy Weber and asked him if he has been happy with the work his kids have put in this summer.
After a week off, the first official day of high school football practice will be August 6th.
Thayer will play in the Jamboree at West Plains on August 17th, and open the season at home with Hayti on August 24th.
