The Cave City watermelon festival continues today with a busy day planned, at 9 this morning they will have a kids fishing derby, this afternoon at 5:15 there will be a watermelon speed eating contest, at 6, Luke Stroud & 50’s Beat will be on the main stage, at 6:45 the Cave City Cruizers will have a drive through, at 7 Maggie Thorne will be on t he main stage and at 8, the featured entertainment on the main stage is Country Star Mo Pitney. The Festival continues tomorrow with a busy schedule of events including a melon 5k, pancake breakfast, car show, parade, tractor show, games and contest, and Country Group Little Texas wraps up the festival Saturday night.
